March's News and Events
Comic Relief
On Friday 18th March Killard House School held a fun day in aid of Comic Relief. Pupils had to come to school in non uniform but wearing something red.
It was a fun filled day with everyone taking part in activities such as face painting, a red nose hunt and a disco.
The school also organised a ‘Gunge The Teacher’ competition and pupils had great excitement watching some members of staff get covered in gunge all in a very good cause.
A great day of fun was had by all and the school raised £235 for Comic Relief.
Well done everyone!

Boys Swimming Gala
Congratulations to Killard's boys swimming team who won the inter schools gala at Ards Leisure Centre.
This is the first time that the school have won the gala in which they competed against 5 other MLD schools from Belfast and Hillsborough.
Coach Katrina Yeates was delighted with the team’s performance especially when all 12 boys picked up gold, silver or bronze medals.
The school would like to take this opportunity to thank Ards leisure centre's swimming coaches Neal Pratt and Diane Bunting for the hard work they do throughout the year with both primary and secondary pupils. We couldn't have won it without them!
